Jenna applied for student council this year at school, and she is the secretary. The council is comprised of 5th and 6th graders. They meet once a week, to plan and organize various fundraisers and activites. They just finished a food drive with a fun competition between BYU and University of Utah. Each can of food a child would bring to school would count towards the university of their choice. We were sending multiple cans in behalf of our BYU spirit, and lucky for us, BYU won! Jenna is enjoying student council, and is responsible to get up at an earlier time to get herself ready for school. She is sure growing up, and we love her, our family would not be the same without her!
