Christmas is just such a wonderful time of year. The best part is celebrating the Savior and being around family. I loved Christmas Eve as a child - the spiritual nature of it and the anticipation for Christmas morning. Because of the poignant memories, I love to carry on the tradition for my own children. This year we were blessed to have both the Carter's and Hancock's for Christmas Eve! The supper was festive and delicious, and the kids enjoyed singing happy birthday to Jesus. The program afterwards was my favorite part. Watching the kids share their talents and joy in the Savior was such a highlight of the holidays for me!

Hey cute sistah! I love your blog entry! Fun family memories. Love the jammies, and the activities on Christmas eve. Love the smoker - mmmm! And the baking looks delicious! I love the picture of you and Mel - you both are so beautiful! Hey - where did you get that red shirt? I love it! Do you think the store still has those left? Could you buy me one? I'm so glad you have family there with you in Utah so you could be together. Thanks for sharing the photos with us - and blogging again! Love you! L
... good to be reminded of the great food and even greater time spent together with family!!
It is so fun to see the excitement of the kids at Christmas and get caught up in their enthusiasm
yay. What a great blog post. I loved seeing what Christmas Eve was like at your house. The table settings, the food. It looks a lot like mom's. Some of the same baking, same kind of program, singing happy birthday to Jesus. You and Mel look so cute in your outfits - I love how it coordinated. You're in red and she has a red flower in her hair. It helps me feel like I can be a part of it even though I'm far away. I'm so happy you did a blog.
Yay for the blog and yay for Christmas Eve! First of all, I am so proud that you did a blog post and look at all the comments you have! Also, Christmas Eve was so special at your house. I loved feeling the spirit for worshipping the Savior and having that sweet feeling in the comfort of your home. What a beautiful job you did on the dinner, Stink. I loved every minute of the cooking with you. Thanks so much for having our family. It was such a highlight for us! Love you!
So exciting to see a new blog post about your very special Christmas Eve! It looks like it was certainly a most memorable, magical evening. We missed our Hancocks, but are so glad you were able to share a wonderful time together. Cute, cute pictures of all the kiddos and you and Mel are stunning!! Much love from the Houskeepers!
