Abigail sure had a fun birthday week! Her celebrations began on the Sunday before her birthday, when her cousins came over to have dinner and cake. Then on her birthday, I checked her out of school and made her favorite - bean with bacon soup, after which I took her to the book store where she chose a couple of books. That night, we went to Chili's for supper, and she was excited to open her gifts. She sure loved all of the phone calls and family remembering her - thank you! Then, on Friday, she had a friend's birthday party. She had a blast with her friends and the life the party - cousin Zach! She was very grateful, and expressed her thanks many times. We sure love our Abby!

Abby, you are such a sweet girl! I love your passion and excitement for life. You are such a good example to me. Cynthia that picture of Abby reacting to her camera reminds me of your 8 year old birthday pictures. I remember looking and looking at those just laughing each time. It's so great that you both react so well..it entertains me!
