Science Fair

With her display the day of the science fair.

Jenna entered the science fair this year, and chose the subject of chewing gum. Our entire family participated by aiding in the experiment through chewing different brands of gum. We determined after twenty minutes the flavor remaining on a scale of 1-10. I really enjoyed putting the board together with Jenna, and Mike had fun making up graphs to show her results. She ended up being a runner up, so if one of the students is unable to attend the district science fair, Jenna will take their place. She was quite pleased about that, and it was a fun experience to share together! Way to go Jenna!

Way to go Jenna! You always do SO well in your school work. The "gum guru" is such a catchy title. Good luck..I'll cross my fingers that you can go a little bit further in the competition. What is your favorite gum? Ella would have LOVED to participate!

Good Job Jenna!! That is such a great idea. I'm interested to know which brand was the best one in the end. That is really cool that you are the runner up!!

Extra was the brand of gum that's flavor lasted the longest, while Juicy Fruit was the worst.

Way to go, Jenna!! That's awesome! That sounds like a really fun project! :) I hope that you get to go even further in the competition! I had to do a science fair project a few weeks ago, but yours is so much better than mine was!! :) Great job!!

Way to go Jenna! I was going to say exactly what Mel said - the gum guru is an awesome title. And such a cute board. Your hard work really shows! I'll have to remember that extra is a good brand to buy. (Oh, and I've never really like juicy fruit so that works for me!)
