This past week, Abigail had her dance recital on two nights, June 9th and 10th. She just loved her year at dance. She is always happy to go to lessons, and she thanks me often for putting her in dance. We had alot of fun going to all of the competitions locally, and in St. George. Her "Conga" number recieved an award for best choreography and costume. The show number, with many dancers, recieved a high point award. Abigail's favorite dance this year was her ballet number. It was beautiful to watch, so graceful and fluid. At the recital, each teacher from the studio presents a student that they have chosen from the year who stood out to them - a dancer who worked hard, and had a positive attitude. Abby's ballet teacher, Jill chose her. Abby was so excited, and it was not something she expected because there are 400 students at the school, and 18 teachers. She got her picture on a poster with the other dancers of the year, and a trophy. I was proud of her for working so hard, loving dance, and improving her talent. Way to go, Abbsa-boo-boo!
