Family Fun

Date night at the Stampede

Beautiful legs, guys!
The whole huge gang!

Watch out cowboys!

Dani and Jenna having fun, Corbin, not so sure!

Dad - didn't know you had a hidden talent of tap dancing!

We were sure happy to hit the Calgary Stampede this year! Taking all the kids was sure interesting, we kept busy keeping track of them all! The superdogs was of course a hit, along with the motorcross jumping. Love the excitement in the city when it is Stampede time! The adults went back in the evening, having fun checking out all the booths. All of us girls loved the purse booth, with Martha and I enthusiastically purchasing the purse that can change shells to go along with your outfit - so much fun! It was halarious watching Mike and Graham getting their legs shaved, and doing the ab cruncher - way to make the evening enjoyable, men! We also had a great time at Calaway Park - definitely a favorite for all! We just loved Grandpa being called up on stage during the diva show, as he was asked to tap dance. I was laughing as he did an Irish rendition of tap dancing - with his hands held still at the side. He did a wonderful job, and the grandkids were very impressed, with Abby giving him a huge hug as he came off the stage.

I LOVE it! I am so proud of you Stink for taking a picture of Dad. I was so sad to have missed that performance so I can only imagine how hilarious it must have been. I can picture him in my mind and it is pretty darn funny, just like Mike and Graham getting their legs shaved! Good times, good times!

I'm so sad that I missed Dad dancing. Darn it! I'm sure it was so funny...I can picture it in my mind. I also love the feeling the city gets during the Stampede - I love it there and the delicious mini donuts. Is the picture of all us adults at the stampede yours? Do you think you could e-mail it to me? Thanks!
