We sure love doing activities outside with grandma, grandpa, and cousins! We really enjoyed the zoo, Grandpa always makes it so much fun with his love for hippos, it makes the children excited to see them. We also had several days enjoying the beautiful Alberta rocky mountains. Bragg creek was so much fun, hiking and playing several games with the kids. It is the best to see them laughing and playing together. The Kananaskis was another memorable day. The upper Kananakis lake was simply beautiful. I love seeing grandma and grandpa with their grandchildren!

Today, from the moment they woke up, my kids were fighting. As we were eating breakfast, instead of reading the scriptures like I normally do, I was quietly sitting. Ethan noticed the absence of my reading, then makes a request. "May I be excused from the table for a minute, please?" "Why, I asked?" With a trembling frown on his face, he quietly replies, "Because, I need to go repent." He then goes over and kneels at the couch. When he returned to the table, I asked him what he said. He tells me "I asked Heavenly Father to forgive me for all the mistakes I have made today." That little boy just melted my heart.

For family home evening last week, we had a lesson on service, then challenged our children to do three secret service acts for members of our family. We then met together again to discuss the things they had done, and how it made them feel. When it came to Ethan, he furrowed his brow, and was digging deep to remember what he had done. All of a sudden his face lit up, and he exclaims: "I know!" The other day, Abigail had to leave from playing her game on the play station, and I finished it for her!" We all got a good laugh out of that one, including Ethan.

At supper, we were playing our new game of asking and answering various questions, to create interesting conversation. One of the questions was, if you had one million dollars, what would you buy? We all had fun dreaming of all the fun things we would aquire. When it came to Claire's turn, I asked her, "Claire, if you had lots and lots of money, and could buy whatever you wanted, what would you get?" She thinks for a moment, then with enthusiastic, bright eyes, exclaims "Lucky Charms!"

One day Claire excitedly exclaims - "Mom, I can feel my heart beeping!"

Claire was playing with a baby doll named Sarah one day. I asked her - "Claire, is Sarah a good baby?" She enthusiastically responds,"Yes, because she eats ALL of her vegetables!"

While driving one day, out of the blue, Abigail states - "I just love kissing!" "Pardon me?", I ask, shocked. "Well you know, like when people kiss in movies, or moms and dads kiss, and people say eww, well, it's not gross to me, I like it."
