We had the privilege to attend another temple open house in August, this temple is the Oquirrh Mountain Temple, located in South Jordan. In fact, when you are on the temple grounds looking East, you can see the Jordan River Temple. Going to the temple with our children was another wonderful experience. We feel so lucky to have been able to go through two temples in one year. It has made quite the impression on our kids. Abby gave a talk in church today on the blessings of the temple. One of the things she said was - "When I am in the temple I feel happy, holy, and sacred, and I feel the spirit there." I also love being in the temple, there is such peace and joy there.

That is so cool that you have had the opportunity to go to two open houses!! Looks like such a nice temple. I love the feeling the temple brings - such peace.
What a rewarding experience for you all. And, way to go on teaching your children how important the temple is. They will have fond memories. Abby's thoughts are so precious. It reminds of her sweet talk she gave at Zachary's baptism and also her sweet testimonies that she shares. Your children are such examples of living close to the spirit. It sure helps that they have a righteous mother leading them. Love you!

What beautiful pictures. Seeing your family in front of the temple helps you just see the eternal perspective hey? What a great experience for all of them that I'm sure they'll remember for years to come. I don't remember all the details about the Cardston temple, but I sure remember my feelings.
