At the Hogle Zoo
East HighAt the beginning of August, Ethan and Abigail went with Melanie to her house, while Carter and Emery stayed at our house. The children called it the switch-off, they planned it and were sure excited for it! We had Carter and Emmy in our ward on Sunday, and it is always fun to show off a cousin! We also went to the zoo, visited East High (where High School Musical was filmed - Emmy was thrilled), and mini-golfing. We had so much fun having Carter and Emery with us, it was enjoyable to spend some more one on one time with them. Jenna, Carter and I also had fun playing the game of Life. Melanie spoiled my kids by taking them swimming both days they were there - they had a blast! They also made up their own rock band, with Ethan on the guitar, Caden on drums, and Abby as the singer. We have a video of them performing the "Transformers" song - so cute! Such good memories for the cousins!

What a great idea!! Sounds like the kids had a blast. So true that you would be able to get to know them a bit better.
Ahh, don't you love our Hassler and Hancock people! They are the best. We have the best kids and it was so fun to switch them a have them be a part of a new gang for a while. It truly is a wonderful memory that we will have to carry on. THanks for spoiling my kids. They adored their time with you! Can't wait to see you guys soon!
That was so much fun!!!! I want to make it a tradition! It was so fun to play the game of LIFE- thanks mom! Carter and I had fun messing around with the game- we had to be told to be quiet a few times because we were laughing our heads off! I can't wait to see you Hancocks!

Yes - what good memories. You guys are such fun moms. And it is a great way to get to know those neices and nephews on a more one on one basis. I love that you went to East High! I'd love to walk through there and see where everything was filmed. How fun!
